Enjoy the earthy flavours of rye bread, baked freshly at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups rye flour
  • 1 cup plain “00” flour
  • 2 tablespoons caraway seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fast action yeast

Method

  1. Place the water, milk powder, sugar, molasses, oil, salt, flours, caraway seeds and yeast into the Pan.
  2. Select program 3. Press start.
  3. When program is finished remove bread from Pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
